The Power of a Local Network

Alexa Naudziunas, Executive Director

It is with great enthusiasm that I share some news with you about the ever-evolving landscape of our community. As we look ahead to the future, I believe it is our duty to equip ourselves with the tools and insights needed to navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie on the horizon.

I am delighted to inform you that the eighth Envision workshop, led by the renowned futurist Garry Golden, is already underway. This immersive exploration of emerging trends and future strategies is shaping up to be an enlightening experience for me and my classmates.

Furthermore, next month, I will embark on an intensive foresight and future-thinking certification course offered by the University of Houston. This upcoming journey promises to broaden my perspective and provide me with a unique set of skills to anticipate and respond to the dynamic forces shaping our world and, more importantly, our local community.

The importance of such learning cannot be overstated. It’s not just about personal growth—it’s about how we, as a collective, can harness this newfound knowledge to drive our community toward greater success. Together, we can craft a future that is not only prosperous but also resilient, inclusive and innovative.

I extend an open invitation to each of you to continue the foresight learning you’ve already begun. The power of foresight lies not just in one individual but in our shared ability to envision, strategize, and execute plans that will shape our destiny.

Let’s move forward, united in our commitment to building a stronger, more sustainable, and more interconnected community. If you have ideas or questions, or simply wish to engage in dialogue, I encourage you to reach out. Your insights and perspectives are invaluable to me.

In closing, I look forward to sharing more updates and insights from the workshop and certification course in the coming months. Your support and engagement mean the world to Envision and to me, and I can’t wait to see how we can collectively shape the future for Greater Green Bay. Stay tuned for more exciting developments!
